This video is all the most simple bind-off for knitting stitches. A bind-off, or cast-off (how people in the UK call it), secures the stitches of a project and prevents them from unraveling by creating a permanent edge. Here are the steps: Preparation: Knit two stitches Step 1: Insert the left knitting needle into the second stitch on the right needle from left to right Step 2: Lift the second stitch up and pass it over the first stitch all the way so it drops (make sure that the first stitch stays on the needle!) Step 3: Knit one stitch Repeat steps 1-3 until over again until the end of the row and you bound off all stitches. To finish the bind off (once you only have one stitch on your needle), simply pull out the last stitch quite a bit, cut the yarn, and pull the tail all the way through (this creates a knot). And you are finished with your bind-off. Your stitches won't unravel anymore.
