Dr.(Mrs.) Inyang, Helen Bassey is an Agro Business Consultant. She had her PhD in Agricultural Economics (Specialised in Agricultural Production Economics) from Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola in 2015. She obtained her Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Agricultural Economics in 2006 from the Federal University of Technology, Yola and also her first degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension in 1995 from the same University. She equally obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in 2010 from the National Teachers Institute, (NTI), Kaduna.
She served at the Kwararafa University, Wukari, Taraba State as a lecturer II as well as Head of Economics Department from January 2016 to October 2017. She is currently Lecturer I in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, National Open University of Nigeria. She is the Zonal Coordinator; South-South Incubation Centre, Uyo, as a unit under the Directorate for Entrepreneurship and General Studies (DEAGS) of the University. She has authored about fifteen academic publications on reputable Journals while many are in view.
She is a member of the following professional bodies; Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists (NAAE) and Agricultural Society of Nigeria (ASN).
